C&MA Logo

When the Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA) was first established, it began using four symbols: the cross, the washing basin, the oil bottle, and the crown. These symbols represent the completeness of the gospel and are collectively known as the Fourfold Gospel.

The Fourfold Gospel

The Cross
Jesus is our Savior

It symbolizes the Christ being crucified for our sins and becoming the salvation of every believer, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.

The Washing Basin
Jesus is our Sanctifier

It symbolizes God’s grace that sanctifies us, enabling us to be cleansed daily and live a holy and victorious life.

The Oil Bottle
Jesus is our Healer

It symbolizes the filling of the Holy Spirit and the healing of the whole person, both spiritually and physically.

The Crown
Jesus is our Coming King

It symbolizes the coming of the Lord, reminding us to fulfill the Great Commission, strive to work for the Lord, lead people to Him, and receive the crown as a reward from the Lord in the future.
